I LOVE Halloween! I love decorating and dressing up. So I decided to do a recap of all my favorite Halloween memories over the years. :)
2016 - This was our first year in a home with a HUGE backyard, and I have been loving every moment of it! We went to the pumpkin patch and went home to set up in the back with a fire and our puppies, it was one of the best nights.
I dressed up as Harry Potter this year, awesome. For those of you who know me, I am OBSESSED with Harry Potter, seriously. I own every book, every movie, I LOVE the parks and have a Harry Potter shadow box in my beauty room, you get the picture. I got the tie and glasses from a kit in Target, gah target, then I got the scarf and Hedwig mug from Books A Million in my local mall. (I go in there all the time just to look at new harry potter sturf....it drives Mike crazy lol)
2015 - We decided to take the family to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. It was SOOOOOO much fun! I swear we have more fun the kids do.
On select nights, the Magic Kingdom closes regular park hours and opens for the MNSSHP. Filled with spooky treats, a Halloween Parade, Trick or Treating around the park, and even an appearance by the Sanderson Sisters...my FAVORITE! Adults are allowed to dress up right along with the children (not allowed on normal operating days). If you have not experienced this yet, you need to! Add it to the bucket list!
Mike and I went as Mickey and Minnie, of course. I made my entire skirt and then just added white felt dots to Mike's shorts. I ordered the rest of our costumes off of amazon (linked below).
2015 - This was such a beautiful day! It is a rare occasion for it to be 60 degrees and no humidity here in Florida, so when it does happen I take advantage of the situation and bust out the boots! Going to the pumpkin patch is one of my favorite things to do in October, especially on the perfect Florida day!
2014 - This year we went to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando. I wanted an edgy look so I threw on a flannel, boots, cross necklace and a dark lip, done.
2013 - I was obsessed with the Fifty Shades of Grey series, so naturally I decided to be "Fifty Shades of Grey". With the help of my cousin and Home Depot (lol) I was able to hot glue all the different 'paint' shades of grey into a skirt! Add some handcuffs and a grey tie (duhhh) and BOOM, halloween costume complete!
