Hi!

Welcome to my blog! I document my adventures in life, travel, style, Disney, food and business. Thanks for stopping by!

Annual Passholders

Annual Passholders

We are now DISNEY ANNUAL PASSHOLDERS!

After living in Florida my entire life AND being obsessed with Disney, I figured it was time to purchase Disney Passes! I went with the Disney Platinum Pass, this includes admission to all 4 Walt Disney World theme parks with the ability to go from park-to-park on the same day and NO BLACKOUT DATES! You also get FREE PARKING and discounts on hotels, dining, tours, and merchandise. Disney gives you the option of paying up front and breaking the total cost down into monthly payments (I choose the latter, I mean who wants to pay for it all up front?)

After purchasing our passes, Disney sent out thank-you letters with the famous Annual Passholder Magnet to showcase to everyone around that you are an APH (living in Florida, almost every car has one on it.....mine is on my fridge.) In this letter also came instructions to log into My Disney Experience Account to link my passes and order our complimentary Magic Bands. They let you choose between the basic colors pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and gray with the option of putting your name on the inside (so there is no confusion in case family members have the same color). You can order different Magic Bands on the Disney website or purchase them at any park. Multiple bands can be linked to one pass for those who want/have different colors/designs. It took less than 2 weeks to get ours in the mail, they came in a fun Disney box and were labeled.

The purpose of Magic Bands is to make your life easier when you are visiting Disney. They act as your ticket, fast-passes and room key (if you have a hotel room). Any photos taken at Disney by their professional photographers (this includes ride and character meeting photos) are linked to your Magic Band and uploaded to your Disney Experience Account. You can also link a credit card to your Magic Band to make purchases on Disney Property; this saves you from carrying your wallet around with you. They are pretty much your lifeline when visiting the parks.

Instead of rushing around like we used to, we now take our time and explore the parks. Sometimes we go all day or we will go afterwork on the weekends and stay until closing (this is only when the Magic Kingdom is open till midnight). Each time we go we see a new show, eat at a different resturant and try new things. I will post about all of our Disney adventures with different tips and tricks! Stay tuned!
